2 to 6 Inches Taller Instantly
Men's dress shoes made to your measurements, your style, your specs. You choose the leather, sole, toe shape, and color. Need a hidden height boost? A concealed 5–15 cm lift can be built in.
Q: What styles can I customize?
Oxford (closed lacing, most formal), derby (open lacing, versatile), monk strap (buckle), loafer (no lacing), and whole-cut (single-piece leather, minimal). Each available with different toe shapes — cap-toe, wingtip, plain, chisel, round.
Q: What parts do I get to choose?
Upper leather, sole type, toe shape, color, lining, and welt construction. Leathers range from full-grain calfskin to shell cordovan. Soles come in leather, rubber, Dainite, or combination.
Q: Can I add height without it looking obvious?
Yes. Our shoemakers design the proportions around the lift from the start. A 6–7 cm increase looks natural in an oxford or derby. Above 8 cm, the sole gets slightly thicker but far less noticeable than off-the-shelf elevator shoes.
Q: What's the process?
Measurement → design consultation → production → fitting. Handmade bespoke takes 2–4 weeks. Made-to-measure runs 2–4 weeks. Most makers include one round of fit adjustments.
Q: "Bespoke" vs "made-to-measure" vs "factory-custom"?
Bespoke: new last carved for your foot, $500–1,500+. Made-to-measure: existing last adjusted to your dimensions, $250–600. Factory-custom: you pick from a menu, standard last, under $300. Ask which one you're getting.
Q: How do I judge leather quality?
Genuine leather is the lowest grade. Look for full-grain calfskin — it takes a polish and ages well. If the maker names the tannery, that's a good sign.
Q: Leather sole or rubber?
Leather looks dressier but wears fast on pavement and slips when wet. Rubber lasts longer and grips better. Combination sole (leather front, rubber heel) splits the difference for daily city wear.
Q: Can I return custom shoes?
Usually no. Most makers offer fit adjustments instead — stretching, tightening, reshaping. Confirm the adjustment policy before ordering.
