My first choice for long days. Verified Purchase

I had previously bought similar shoes in brown so I knew they would fit. As I've aged I discarded several perfectly good shoes solely of other brands because they became uncomfortable. These Chamaripa have a large box with I credit for much of the comfort. I've become a fan of rubber soles. For many years I've heeded the advice of shoe salesmen that leather soles were preferred because they kept feet cool. That may have been true before climate-controlled living/working spaces, but it's not true today. To me, leather soles are often sold on snob appeal. What's more, after i tried other elevator shoes brand, I found the hidden insole of the shoes is the most important of the shoes, the Chamaripa shoe is most comfortable and invisible shoe that look taller.

Chamaripa is pretty much the only elevator shoe I buy. Over the years I found that they fit well, provide good arch support and excellent cushioning. I am on my feet all day and walk on hard tiled floors. The Rockports are great. This shoe was no exception. It fit nicely and looks fine.

The Most Comfortable Shoe Verified Purchase

I'm fortunate to work for a company that permits business casual attire and Chamaripa's elevator shoes are perfect. They are very soft and pliable -- have never had a problem when breaking in a new pair. They always look great (I keep them polished) even when they start to wear down. One other big plus for me is I really appreciate them when flying -- they pass through most airport scanners when allowed to wear shoes through security.

I really like these shoes. I have to wear a uniform for work and these are much lighter than the standard issue. I also like the sole. It has a lot of grip and cushion. The sole is rubber, which is great, and the leather is Genuine leather. I wear them every day and they have held up nicely.
