Took a chance and want disappointed Verified Purchase
I'm a carpenter and was looking for a pair of lightweight work boots which also gives me a bit of height. I have been wearing the chamaripa for 6 months now.
I feel these boots may be a little sturdier in that area but have only been wearing them for about two weeks now.
1) They were comfortable right out of the box.
2) I did give them good oiling and then used a waterproof sealer as well. They got tested today in the mud for about 5 hours and my feet stayed dry.
There are two items that are negative but not deal breakers.
1- The sole is harder than other elevators.
2- It would be nice to have a hook instead of an eye at the top of the shoe to make it a bit easier to get on and off.
